Hi! I’m Amaya!
I'm a 21-year-old college student studying screenplay and journalistic writing, while also working as a writing consultant at my university writing center. Upon graduation in 2023, I plan to move to Japan to start a career teaching English, still writing screenplays and partaking in online writing jobs as a side profession.
However, in the meantime, I enjoy watching TV and movies, hence why I'll be reviewing my thoughts on them through this blog. While I'll be creating reviews for those curious on whether to watch something, many of my other reviews contain an in-depth analysis for those having already watched the show or movie but want to read another person's perspective on it.
Please note my opinions are my own. I don't intend to be hurtful. I want to give honest feedback, and am hoping maybe people can connect and discuss our passion for entertainment media together! :)

Favorite Sports: Gymnastics and figure skating
Favorite TV Shows: One Tree Hill and The Untamed
Current Favorite Anime: Monster, Ping Pong the Animation, Demon Slayer (District Arc), AnoHana, Made in Abyss, Devilman Crybaby, Orange, Angel Beats. I like dark and emotional anime. I'm always willing to give recommendations, tho. ^_^
Favorite Movies: Hard to pick. I have too many that I love. 0_o But check out the "Movies I Can Watch Forever" slide on my homepage for an idea of a few of my favorites!
Types of Shows I Enjoy: Slice of life, drama, mystery, adventure, crime, psychological thriller, pretty much anything!
